My mom and I were trying to do things we had never done before. We had realized how much we take local things for granted. When we found out that there was a hot air balloon festival in Foley, Alabama, we decided we wanted to check it out. Turns out Foley is WAY out in the boonies and not exactly easy to get to. And the balloon festival was not as exciting as they made it out to be, but we had a good time anyway, lol.
